
The idea of reuniting former lovers Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone in Tamasha is definitely working in favour of the film. While yesterday we reported to you how the film opened to phenomenal figures by marking a sum of Rs 10.87 crore on day 1. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh just tweeted the second day figures which has comparatively experienced a steady growth. He wrote, “#Tamasha stays strong at plexes/metros. Witnesses 21% growth. Fri 10.87 cr, Sat 13.17 cr. Total: ₹ 24.04 cr. India biz.”
As per reports, Tamasha is doing exceptionally well across metros, thanks to its advantage of having a solo release! Trade reports further suggest the film witnessed an overall growth of 21 percent to 30 percent on Saturday, receiving positive appreciation from all quarters. It can be noted that not just at the domestic box office. Tamasha is also faring well at the international markets! In fact, Ranbir has marked his highest opening ever in Pakistan and the Middle East. Well, now this only explains how people are enjoying Tamasha and are totally in praise for Ranbir-Deepika.
Talking about the plot, Tamasha traces the journey of Ved and Tara played by Ranbir and Deepika, who meet in Corsica. They fake their identities for fun and along the way form a troupe to stage dramatic plays and passionately fall in love with each other.But back to the reality, they are actually two different individuals belonging to different backgrounds. So how Tara identifies with Ved’s journey and how she helps him to get out of his monotonic life, is what the film is all about!
