All political parties willing to become guarantors, if agreement is reached

- First joint session of Parliament takes place
- JI chief Sirajul Haq to conduct talks with PTI in the evening
- Javed Hashmi asks for trial of Parliament and hands resignation to NA
- Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar alleges PTI, PAT are trying to take over Parliamentin name of democratic protests
- Government files FIR against Imran Khan and Tahirul Qadri for attack on PTV headquarters. Demonstrators broke into the PTV headquarters on Monday and stopped transmission but army was able to push the protesters out
- Chief Justice Nasirul Mulk denies affiliation with any political party, says he met Imran Khan only once
- Parliamentarians assure PM Nawaz of their support in joint session of National Assembly
- Sporadic clashes continue between police and protesters as protesters still camp outside Parliament
- Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif reiterates he will neither resign nor go on leave after meeting top political brass on Monday
- Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif’s met at the PM House on Monday to discuss political crisis
- Three people have died while more than 400 people were injured so far as a result of the clashes
